The Monastery of Saint Augustine Hippo and Seraphim of Saroff is 13 km from the Abbey Resort. The bells are rung every 5 years on the feast of Saint Seraphim where 400 believers climb up the bell tower and hit them with their hands. The 62 bells of the monastery all ring together on Saint Augustine (June 15), Saint Seraphim (July 19) and Saint Nektarios (November 9).
