The monastery of Cosmas of Etolos is located 55 kilometers from the Abbey Resort. In the largest lake of Greece, Trichonida, between Thermo and Mega Dendros, is the women's monastery of the great teacher and illuminator of the Genus Hieromartyr and Co-apostle, Agios Kosmas Aitolos, who came from the area. Part of the holy relic is kept in the monastery.
